In 2017, Nationwide and Guidewire developed an aligned vision for the future of digital sales and service to the U.S. small commercial market. The two companies decided to work together to create a new way to engage these customers.
Guidewire would invest in new digital product capabilities to enable personalization, campaign management, and test-and-learn capabilities, and Nationwide would provide market insight and business maturity to deliver the program on an aggressive timeline.
As an early adopter, Nationwide influenced the active development of the Guidewire Digital solution for small businesses, and together they were able to deliver the initial release to market within nine months.
