Managing Director APAC, Guidewire Software

Roland Slee has overall responsibility for leading Guidewire business in the Asia-Pacific region. Roland joined Guidewire in June 2019 in Sydney, Australia, where he had been the Managing Director for Asia-Pacific at Bravura Solutions, a global software company providing core platforms to the wealth management industry. Roland led the team selling Bravura’s cloud-based platform across the region, leading to a successful IPO on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2016. He was previously a Vice President at Oracle Corporation, where he focused primarily on the Financial Services industry in Asia and Europe. He chairs the Industry Advisory Board for the Faculty of Engineering and IT at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and lectures at both UTS and the University of Sydney. Roland has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Sydney, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is a fellow of UTS.
