Vittorio Giusti, COO, Aviva Italy
Vittorio Giusti is the COO and member of the Management Committee of Aviva Italy. He is in charge of all the Insurance and non-Insurance services, including Claims and Underwriting, both Life and GI, Transformation and IT. He is also CEO of the General Insurance legal entity at Aviva Italy. During his twenty-five-years career, he was first agent, then he started an entrepreneurial startup of which he became CEO and then held the role of CIO at Zurich Italia and later Country COO and COO Latin America.

Frédéric Bardeletti, Claims Transformation Enterprise Architect, Axa Belgium
Frédéric Bardeletti has been the lead architect since the start of the claims transformation AXA Belgium. Frédéric and his team deliver the solutions that enable the complete transformation of the P&C claims domain and the decommissioning of the legacy systems. These solutions are based on industry standard components, rule engines, artificial intelligence, APIs, cloud infrastructure, self-service portals, reuse of shared assets and SaaS. Frédéric has 20 years of experience in IT (including 15 years of experience in IT architecture) and has an engineering degree from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées of Lyon (France).

Tanguy Segondy, Head of Center of Excellence Guidewire, Axa Group Operations
Tanguy Segondy has been working on Guidewire for AXA since 2009. He has been involved for 6 years in the AXA France Claim Transformation project. Tanguy joined AXA in 2015 as Head of AXA Center of Excellence for Guidewire which helps the Axa entities in their Guidewire implementation sharing expertise, lessons learned and assets within the Group.

Nathalie Broutèle, CEO, Natixis Assurances
Nathalie Broutèle, a graduate of Neoma Business School, began her insurance career at Mutuelles du Mans Assurances in a marketing position. She joined the insurance subsidiary of the Banque Populaire Group in 1991 as Director of Marketing/Communication and the Financial Controlling Department. In 1999, she then became Director of the Client Services/IT Program Management and Financial Controlling Departments before becoming Deputy Managing Director in 2003 and then Chief Executive Officer at Natixis Assurances in 2006. In 2014, she was placed in charge of the Life Insurance business at Natixis Assurances. Since late 2016, she has been Head of the Non-Life Insurance business for the Caisse d’Epargne and Banque Populaire networks. She is a member of the Executive Committee at Natixis.

Dr. Adam Melski, Project Manager, VHV
As co-project lead, Dr. Adam Melski is responsible for the implementation of Guidewire at VHV since 2017. Prior to that role he acted for several years as department director for business development and IT coordination at VHV Solutions. Dr. Melski has been dealing intensively with the concept of agility for many years and led the first agile project at VHV. Dr. Melski holds a PhD in business information technology

Dan Bishop, Head of Pricing, Hiscox UK
Dan Bishop is an insurance professional with 24 years’ experience in a variety of pricing and analytical roles. He has been at Hiscox since the beginning of 2013 where he is responsible for their UK retail pricing team. This team supplies prices for Hiscox’s personal lines insurance products targeted at the mid & high net worth markets and Business Insurance aimed at small business entrepreneurs. Prior to that he was at Direct Line Group for 17 years where he did a variety of pricing related roles and 3 years leading their Solvency II technical effort.

Marcus Ryu, Chief Executive Officer
Marcus is Guidewire’s Chief Executive Officer and President and has overall responsibility for our operations and strategic direction. Since co-founding the company in 2001, he has held a variety of roles for the company, including securing key customer relationships, communicating our value proposition, and defining our product strategy. He serves on our Board of Directors and has managed the engineering, sales, services, and strategy departments. Before Guidewire, Marcus was Vice President of Strategy at Ariba and an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Marcus currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bloomreach, a cloud personalization platform company. He has an A.B. from Princeton University and a B.Phil. from New College, Oxford University, where he was a Marshall Scholar.

Brian Desmond, Chief Marketing Officer
Brian is responsible for Guidewire’s global marketing efforts, including demand generation, branding, product and solution marketing, sales enablement, and communications. He joined Guidewire in 2006, and during his tenure the company has been recognized as an industry-leading brand serving customers in 30+ countries. He has more than 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry. Prior to Guidewire, he served as Vice President of Marketing for PeopleSoft’s Supply Chain division and held marketing leadership and product marketing roles at Ketera, Ariba, and Tradex. Brian began his career at Accenture. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College of Cork, Ireland.

Laura Drabik, Group VP, Business Innovation
Laura is Group VP of Business Innovation for Guidewire Software. She keeps her finger on the pulse of insurance industry disruption to coach carriers on how they can innovate their business and achieve a competitive advantage. She brings fresh ideas from the field into Guidewire products. Before joining Guidewire 12 years ago, Laura worked as a consultant for Deloitte and Accenture, but started her career in the insurance industry working at State Farm Insurance. She has an MBA from the University of Toronto.

Julie has more than 20 years of experience in digital business, information technology, and marketing. Before joining Guidewire in 2014, she served as a product marketing advisor for Dell and SonicWall, and as a product marketing consultant for Microsoft. She has also worked as a journalist for The San Francisco Chronicle, SFGate, the Guardian UK, and Salon.com.

René Schoenauer, Product Marketing Manager EMEA
René is responsible for Guidewire’s product and solution marketing in EMEA. In that role he oversees positioning and messaging of Guidewire products in all EMEA markets and works closely with the market and our customer community identifying trends in the insurance industry to communicate those with our product management and development teams to inform Guidewire’s product strategy. Prior to that René Schoenauer has been acting as sales consultant for Guidewire with specialization in policy administration, underwriting, rating and billing.
